A message to those who seek to understand me …

Dearest Friends,

I’d like to share a few brief notes with those who seek to truly understand me and who are with me for the long term. This is in response to some of the comments I’ve read, which follow a pattern of comments I’ve seen over the years in situations like this.

First, my words are not because “I owe an explanation.” They are simply my words, from my heart. They are for me as much as they are for you, today and always.

Secondly, I am not apologizing for anything I’ve said. One will see this quite plainly if they read my words, without confusing their thoughts with mine. If I ever have an apology, I will share it very clearly.

Third, I am fully being me. I am not trying to satisfy or bend to others’ desires. My central focus this year is truth and integrity, which leaves no room for acting for the sake of satisfying others. In the past, I have bent myself as I was operating from a place of insecurity, but I am quite whole and complete within today.

Fourth, this statement is not me taking anything back or changing anything from my last statement. It is further explanation and sharing. I encourage you to read my lines, not between them. I speak with truth, transparency and from my heart. Reading between the lines is not likely to help you to understand me.

Lastly, I want you all to know that I do not feel attacked. I have done the internal work to be able to handle communications. I see every single person who comments as a human. A human who is struggling, just like me. A person who has love within them just like me. A complex and nuanced human, just like me. A person who is not able to fully articulate what is alive in them, just like me.

I love you all very much and am grateful to be on this journey together. I will always be grateful for your support and your critiques. I encourage you to bring either to me with compassion and love at the center.

Love,

Robin
