Southern California’s Most Water-Conscious Resident?
This might sound bold but I’m going to put myself out there.
Am I Southern California’s most water-conscious resident?
I use less than 5 gallons of water per day, harvest rainwater, poop in a compost toilet, shower in the ocean, and use most of my water at least twice!
I’m definitely doing my part to beat the drought but I’ll let this video do the rest of the talking for me:
What do you think?
If you know someone who’s more water-conscious than me please link to them in the comments below. I won’t be disappointed at all if somebodies got me beat. In fact I’ll be excited to hear about them!
The drought is a big deal but the good news is we don’t all have to go to the extreme that I have. 5 gallons per day is crazy but not as crazy as 80-100 gallons per day, which is what the average Californian is using. Now that you’ve seen what is possible, what can you do to use water more reasonably? Check out my guide on how to use less water. It’s here to help you use less water while still living a more comfortable life at home!
