From Corporate Job to Professional Beekeeper : Wesley of Akron Honey

After Wesley discovered beekeeping, he knew he had to pursue a new dream… To build an apiary on a vacant lot in the city of Akron Ohio. He quit his corporate job and took on the profession of beekeeper.

Now he’s living that dream and his process is truly “hive to jar”.

He raises bees respectfully, harvests the surplus honey in small batches and then infuse it with fresh, unique flavors. Each hive and each harvest has its own taste.

Wesley is bringing honeybee culture into schools, spending countless hours educating kids about the importance of honeybees. He is teaching them where their food comes from. Inspiring the next generation of bee defenders!
