Positive Change Story: Kandice Segall

Hello!
I am going to list all the changes to my life that were inspired by Robin, whom I first heard about in 2018. He was on the local news channel, in Orlando, talking about his Food Freedom project of a year without buying food.
Since then, I started following him online and subsequently met him in person. I watched his talks, which really ramped up the changes in the way I do things and how I view the world today. I started:
• composting, which really decreases the amount of trash we send to the landfills (as Robin says, “organized littering”);
• Focus on buying as little plastic and packaged products as possible;
• Try to purchase local products whenever possible;
• Bring my own reusable containers when eating out;
• Not afraid to walk in nature barefoot and actually enjoying trails even more this way;
• Stopped buying paper products like paper towels and paper napkins (still use tp, sorry Robin! My tp plants are still gorgeous in the yard though);
• Stopped buying new clothes and whatever else is needed for the house. Always check second-hand stores or local sellers online.
• And last, I pee in the yard. Actually, I pee inside and place it by the fruit trees.
